There was a continuous need to prepare a English date to Tithi conversion tables, So a series of book titled 'English date conversion Tables' or 'सम्वत तिथि सुबोधन' published which contains English date conversion Tables to tithis for more than 5000 i.e. starting from the birth year of Shri Krishna to current ages, Most of the Asia history is written in the solar-lunar dates (tithi) and there was a deep desire to have an unambiguous calendar start from 3230 BCE (128 Before Kaliyuga) to 2030 CE (5132 Kali Year) to fill it all the historic events in order.
